I have taken the plunge and signed up for a month of CSA!
So, tonight we made sauteed kale, topped with a fried egg, & roasted sweet potatoes, onions and sweet peppers. It was savory and warming. There’s still pretty yellow onions, green beans, mustard greens, kohlrabi, beets, turnips, eggplants, cilantro.
I’m also planning a shaved root vegetable salad with citronette, cilantro, and almonds: something clean, sweet, and mineral. And, roasted eggplant + tomato sauce; oh, and aromatic rice (butter, coriander and black pepper) with sweet potato and cilantro.
Also, this post of Tommy’s is lovely.
And I’ve started making mixes again. Listen up.
