orrechiette with marinated cherry tomato, arugula, basil, and fresh ricotta. the tomatoes steep in their own juices, along with olive oil and minced garlic, before being gently heated, becoming bright pockets of sweetness. damn good.
spring’s peas, carrots, potatoes, green onions in a savory, light broth amidst herbs and orrechiette. an ideal fair-weather dinner along with crusty baguette, and closely followed by a perfect cake: humble, moist, toothsome, just-sweet; with a lovely lemon glaze.
